About

Welcome to Harold's Inn & Restaurant

Since 1960 we have changed with the times to create the kind of restaurant that would please most any hungry patron who comes through our doors. Fifty five years ago, Rod and Louise Hineman, the founders of our restaurant, introduced Mountain-Style chicken wings to Beaver County—they gave them away at the bar, creating an enormous demand for these fresh, whole, golden wings with our unique dry-seasoning—then came the taters and we now sell over 2,500 pounds of chicken a week!

Harold’s was also the first restaurant in the Pittsburgh area to do mesquite grilling. Today, our flame grilled seafood, chicken, ribs, and steaks are incredible and our Cajun cooking is to die for. And then you wanted Pasta...after many years, we finally persuaded Alison, to use her mom’s homemade sauce and meatballs recipe to create our fabulous new pasta dishes. Now that’s Italian! With such great choices as lump crab cakes, stuffed potato skins, Mountain-Style pickles, 9-layer dips and crispy Brussels for appetizers— you can only imagine the rest of our menu.

At Harold’s Inn, you can relax in front of our fireplace, enjoy your favorite sporting event on one of our five televisions in the bar, or head to one of our two spacious dining rooms and catch our grill chef in action in our glass enclosed grill pit. Patio dining begins in April, always the most popular choice of our guests. We’ve got a hardworking, experienced crew, many with over 20 years under their aprons; from our bubbling bartenders, our sizzling cooks, our ever accommodating servers, (sometimes our cooks want to know if we really use a menu out front, or if we just take special requests!) We invite you to share in the good times and great food with your friends and family. We’ve spent 3 generations getting ready for your visit. Come taste the tradition.
